A dense foam barrier that sits between your tire and tube, so nails, screws, and thorns don't get through. It's especially worth it on e-bikes, where a rear flat means wrestling a 15–20 lb motorized wheel on the trail. Since we started installing Tannus, our customers haven't come back with flats. Questions we hear at the counter
- Do you work on Walmart and Amazon bikes?
- For regular (non-electric) bikes, yes: Trek, Cannondale, Walmart, Amazon, you name it. The components on every bicycle are all identical, and we have 51 years of doing this. E-bikes are different: see our e-bike service list on this page for the brands we fully service.
- How much does a bike tune-up cost?
- Our Basic Tune Up is $69.99 and covers inspection, safety check, brake and gear adjustment, chain lube, and bolt checks. A Seasonal Tune is $129.99 and a Full Overhaul is $179.99. We also offer free bike safety inspections.
- Do you service e-bikes?
- Yes. We fully service Aventon, Velotric, Urtopia, Mokwheel, Gazelle, Serfas, Rad Power Bikes, and Himiway e-bikes, plus e-bikes from major brands like Trek, Specialized, Cannondale, Giant, and Canyon. Our E-Bike Service is $129.99 and includes the full Seasonal Tune. We also install Tannus Armor flat-proof tire systems. Ask us for a quote.
- Do you service e-bikes bought from the internet?
- For full service (motors, batteries, electrical diagnostics) we stick to the brands on our service list, because those are the ones we can get parts and support for. But we can perform basic maintenance and repairs on any e-bike: tires, tubes, brakes, and tune-ups.
- Is my old bike worth repairing?
- Usually, yes. And we'll tell you when it isn't. Bring it by for a free safety inspection and we'll quote the repair before we touch anything. If the repair costs more than the bike is worth to you, we'll say so.
- Do you offer pickup and delivery?
- Yes. If you can't bring your bike to us, we'll come pick it up and deliver it back when it's ready. Just give us a call to arrange it.
- What brands do you carry?
- We're authorized dealers for Trek, Cannondale, Pinarello, Look, Aventon, and Urtopia. We're the only Pinarello and Look dealer between Nashville/Memphis and Charlotte. We also carry Boyd Wheels and Mokwheel.
- Do you do bike fittings?
- Yes. A basic fitting is free with any bike purchase. Advanced fitting starts at $200: a hands-on session covering saddle height, reach, handlebar position, and cleat alignment. We take the time to get it right.
